Examination Schedule and Evaluation

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION 2024-2025

Under no circumstances, retest will be conducted and the students may not be eligible for academic proficiency. If a child is absent for a weekly test/ exam for any reason except for medical or unforeseen circumstances, he/she will be marked zero.

The dates of the periodic assessments are subject to change depending upon the Annual Day, Sports Day and any other unforeseen public holidays.

KINDERGARTEN

The academic year will be divided into three terms. The nature of assessment is continuous evaluation on specific aspects of learning. Hence, regular attendance is a mandatory requirement.

GRADES I – X, XI

It is a continuous evaluation. There will be formal and informal assessments. The assessment will be broadly classified into 2 terms. There will be 2 periodic tests and 2 term examinations in an academic year.

  • The assessments schedule is printed in the School diary.
  • A Student must obtain 50% in ministry subjects and 35% in other subjects separately to qualify for promotion to the next grade.

The students will be graded on an eight-point grading scale for Scholastic areas and Co- Scholastic Activities will be graded on a five- point grading scale (A+ to D)

  • The Co- Scholastic Activities such as Work Education, Art Education and Health and Physical Education for Grades VI – VIII will be graded on a three- point grading scale (A to C).
  • Disciplines (Attendance, Sincerity, Behavior, Values) will be graded by the class teacher on a three- point scale (A to C).
  • A Student must obtain 50% in ministry subjects and 35% in other subjects separately to qualify for promotion to the next grade.

GRADE X & XII

As Per CBSE guidelines

Weightage of marks for Ministry Subjects from Grades I-XII is as follows:

Passing Criteria for Ministry Subjects:

  • 50% for all ministry subjects for Grades I to VIII
  • 60% for all ministry subjects for Grades IX to XII

  • To Check Notes -> Select the Sibling tab -> Select your ward -> Click on LMS Moodle->Select Subjects to view the notes.

Leave Request

  • Enter the Parent Login Credentials Click on the Leave application tab -> Upload the attachment and mention the reason. (Note: It will be approved/Rejected within 4-5 working days) To check the status of the leave: Click on STATUS

View Report Card / Marks

  • Visit www.adiswathba.com
  • Enter the Parent Login Credentials
  • (For Grades 1 to 8) → Select the Siblings tab Click on the Report card – Select Term1/Term 2 -> View the Report card
  • (Grades 9 to 12) → Select the Siblings tab -> Click on the Grade Book → Check the Marks asshown in the below figure.
